Family routines & chore rewards

Little jobs. A rhythm that bends.

Some mornings run smoothly. Some mornings need a fresh start. A family chore app should help with both: clear jobs, small wins and room to change the plan.

PICTURE YOUR EVERYDAY

Same family. A different kind of day.

Illustrative examples of the routines workflow. Stars and rewards are chosen by your household.

  1. A regular morning

    Pack the school bag

Assign a weekday routine to Sam. Mark it complete to earn its chore stars.

  2. Plans have changed

    Water the plants · moved

Move an unfinished routine to a later day when it isn’t already scheduled.

  3. Not today

    Tidy the playroom · skipped

Skip today’s occurrence when you need to. Skipping does not award stars.

  4. Away for a few days

    Sam’s routines · paused

Set an away period for Sam. Routines pause for those dates; completed work is kept.

  5. A little win

    Choose the family movie

Create a reward and decide how many stars it takes. Make it something your family looks forward to.

A SMALL START GOES A LONG WAY

Make it work for your household.

  1. Give the job a person and a rhythm

Create a task, assign a family member, choose the days and set its stars. Start with a few useful routines, rather than a long list of new rules.

  2. Let the plan change

Move an unfinished task to a valid later day, skip an occurrence or pause someone’s routines while they’re away. The original routine still has a place.

  3. Celebrate progress your way

Choose rewards with your household. A movie pick, a favorite dinner or a family activity can make the small jobs feel worth celebrating.

GOOD TO KNOW

A few practical details.

Is this an allowance or money app?

The workflow shown here uses chore stars and household-created rewards. It does not transfer money or provide payment cards.

Can we pause just one person’s routines?

Yes. An away period is set for a family member and a date range. Previously completed work is kept.

Does a skipped task earn stars?

No. Stars are for completed tasks. A completed occurrence must be undone before it can be skipped or moved.
